A couple of weeks ago, I did a morning networking speech for the Costa Mesa Connectors. The Connectors are a LinkedIn group in Orange County created by Debra Faris to assist others in developing their business and personal relationships.

Unlike laid-back Vancouver, which only does evening meetups, Orange County has many meetup groups that start before the sun rises. The Costa Mesa Connectors meet on the second Friday of every month at 7:00AM at the Starbucks at Metro Point. I’m not much of a morning person, and wasn’t looking forward to setting my alarm clock. Luckily, my speech wasn’t scheduled until 8:15AM, so I didn’t have to be there so early. The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese!

Oscar Gonzalez captured the entire speech and posted it on YouTube. The video is about an hour long so you might want to grab some food or drink before watching it.
